Better-When-Burned Granola

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups raw buckwheat groats
  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut chips
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup raw pepitas
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup raw honey
  • 2 tbsp. cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp. loose chai tea or the contents of 2 chai teabags
  • Dash of pink sea salt

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir well. Bake for 20-30 minutes (depending on the level of burn you are after…), stirring once halfway. Let cool completely before transferring to an air-tight container. Store in the refrigerator or freezer for optimal crunch.
