The lunar cycles have a powerful and essential effect on the waters of the earth, creating low and high tides that correspond to how nourished and energized our planet is. We are also mere bodies of water, and connecting with the moon can be a meaningful way to maintain a steady relationship with the creative and fertile potential of your body and mind, no matter what your gender or phase of life.
During and post-menopause, when a woman’s menstrual cycle begins to shift, turning to the moon for support during the chaos of feelings and sensations is a traditional practice revered by peoples all over the world. In this four-week series, we’ll explore different yoga-inspired movement, pranayama, meditation, journaling, and dietary principles that can help you structure a routine around the phases of the moon, and honor your feminine creative potential long into your wisdom years.
